Fellow EAA Chapter 1563 members – Let’s gather at Fred’s hanger on Saturday, May  17th at 10AM for our 2nd Pancake Breakfast of the year and to continue our 2025 conversations and discussions of our expectations and preferences for  Chapter’s meetings, Chapter ‘Blasts’, and upcoming events over this year.

Our May and future presentations programs include:

May – “Parachutes and Parachute Packing”… Kevin Gibson; Chief Parachute Packer at Skydive Orange; Pilot/ Owner of a 1956 Cessna C-172 ‘straight tail’, N2208; Aviation Safety & MOSAIC update.

June – “The Rose Parrakeets, their history & an introductión to the surviving flying ” ‘keet’, NC14843″… Bob Gillespi, Owner (including demonstration fly in from Orange County airport & static display [Wx permitting]); Aviation Safety & MOSAIC update.

Future meeting – ‘Bud’ John, ATP (Ret.), VA99 &/or Robbie Yeaman, OMH “Aeronca’s, Champs & Chiefs: legacy Light Sport Aircraft… their pre-war predecessors & the post-war aircraft production boom”.

Future meeting: “Piper Cubs, the ‘Short Wing’ Pipers; ‘Tri-Pacers & Colts’… of Milk Stools & and the post-War Piper aircraft family.”
