Fellow EAA Chapter 1563 Members and Guests – Fall has arrived; bringing with it weather changes! Forcast high, gusting crosswinds have led us to postpone this Saturday’s Young Eagles rally to Saturday October 24th. Please join us at Gordonsville Muni (KGVE) this Saturday morning, October 17th, at 10:00 AM for our 2nd Pancake Breakfast of the 2026- 2027 Fall/ Winter/ Spring season; followed by our monthly Chapter 1563 meeting. During our meeting we’ll be discussing our initial Young Eagles event in October; now on the 24th. Also, we’ll be discussing emerging issues impacting EAA and Aviation communities. From the Director of Community and Economic Development, “I know that everyone’s watching the weather, so this is your reminder that the Fried Chicken Festival is a rain or shine event. Fellow EAA Chapter 1563 Members and Guests – Fall is almost upon us! The Autumnal Equinox is next Tuesday, September 22nd. Please join us at Gordonsville Muni (KGVE) this Saturday morning, September 19th, at 10:00 AM for our first Pancake Breakfast of the 2026- 2027 Fall/ Winter/ Spring season; followed by our monthly Chapter 1563 meeting. During our meeting we’ll be discussing and planning for our initial Young Eagles event in October. Also, we’ll be discussing some of the impacts of MOSAIC on our EAA and Aviation communities.
