Current Announcements:
[EAA1563]: EAA Chapter 1563 May 16th Pancakes and Meeting
Fellow Chapter Members & Guests – Spring warmth and easing gusty winds are in the offing. I’ve recently returned from an extensive visit to the Wright Brothers’ Memorial near Kitty Hawk, on the Outer Banks of NC; and am resuming tailwheel basics and refresher/ recurrency instruction for fellow EAA members and others in a C-140 @ KOMH. Please join us this Saturday at 10:00 AM for Pancake Breakfast; followed by our May EAA Chapter Meeting. Our presentation will be on the Just Highlander story; with show and tell, by Fred Hoffman. EAA’s Fredericksburg Chapter’s also sponsoring an EAA Young Eagles event at Shannon airport, KEZF this Saturday. Andy Murphy and I anticipate providing some experiences and learning curve on our recent RV-9A and C-150M annuals. We hope Nicole can provide an update on their RV-15A build progress. We’ll also discuss our Chapter’s events for the year. Hope to see you there for our pancake breakfast and meeting. Learn – Build – Fly – Share! [EAA1563]: EAA CH 1563 April 18th meeting
Fellow Chapter Members & Guests – Spring is upon us; tax season is almost finished and our C-150M trainer’s Annual went well. Please join us this Saturday at 10:00 AM for Pancake Breakfast; followed by our April EAA Chapter Meeting. Our presentation will cover regional Young Eagles event planning for 2026. Andy and I anticipate providing some learning curve on our recent annuals. We hope Nicole can update us on their RV-15A build progress. We’ll also discuss our Chapter’s events for the year. Regret yet another delay in getting this out to you all; have been side-tracked with biz, personal and estate taxes. My availability will continue to improve this Spring. Hope to see you there for our pancake breakfast. Learn – Build – Fly! C.E. ‘Charlie’ Snyder President EAA Chapter 1563 Gordonsville, VA 540-718-6971
